Aqua Strength & Conditioning

Northwest

A high-intensity class that emphasizes strength and endurance using resistance training. Running, finning, treading, swimming, kickboxing, and other traditional water moves will be used to improve aerobic capacity, core strength, muscle tone, and flexibility. You need to feel comfortable in the water.

Arthritis Aquatics - Basic

Southeast

The Arthritis Foundation  Aquatic Program is a fun and invigorating recreational exercise program. Led by instructors certified through the Arthritis Foundation, this program can benefit anyone who is limited by impaired joint motion and/or strength.

 

Arthritis Aquatics - Deep Water

Southeast

The Arthritis Foundation  Aquatic Program is a fun and invigorating recreational exercise program. Led by instructors certified through the Arthritis Foundation, this program can benefit anyone who is limited by impaired joint motion and/or strength.

 

Arthritis Aquatics - Plus

Southeast

Expands the arthritis aquatics program to include exercises and activities designed to promote functional endurance as well as musculoskeletal flexibility and strength.

 

30 Minute Water Running

Northwest & Southeast

This class incorporates running in intervals (uphill, downhill, and the flats) as well as speed drills. Flotation belts are utilized.

Aqua Fit - Deep Water

Northwest & Southeast

Get a great cardio workout while toning muscles and avoiding impact. This class will help you strengthen your abs, thighs, and back muscles. Great for cross-training. Belts are provided, but you need to feel comfortable in deep water.

 

Aqua Fit - Light & Easy Shallow

Northwest

A gentle water exercise class using movements to build balance, strength, increase flexibility and range of motion, and increase cardiovascular fitness.

 

Aqua Fit - Shallow Water

Get your heart pumping and tone your muscles with this fun, energetic class! This class challenges people at every fitness level. No swimming skills are necessary.
